Full description

Join an exploration of over thirty of London’s major landmarks and best of British foods for a good idea of the history and tastes of one of Europe’s best-loved cities. Start your tour as you head through Green Park to Buckingham Palace, where you can watch the world-famous Changing of the Guard ceremony (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday during the winter months). You will then head to Westminster, and along the way see sights such as Parliament Square, St. James Palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben (sadly covered up at the moment) and the Houses of Parliament. You will then move on to the London Bridge area to see Shakespeare’s Globe, the Shard, HMS Belfast, Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. By this point, you'll have worked up an appetite, so you will be invited to stop for a feast of the best of British foods in one of the UK's most historic pubs. From here you will explore Borough market, Europe's favorite food market, and a bustling hub of smells and flavors. You will sample fish and chips, pie and mash, English beer and also taste a world famous doughnut!

The tour itself was a lot of fun. It should be noted, however, that the description is absolutely misleading. It says here that you drive to the different places. In total we ran 10-12km (we have a fitness watch, so you can see exactly how many steps you have taken and how many kilometers have been covered). We started with 18 people; 6 arrived at the destination - so 2/3 of the group lost because the route was simply not manageable for many. That was a pity. Our feet also hurt quite a bit and we still felt it very much the following days. I don't know if I would have booked the tour if I had known that... Chris had incredible knowledge and was able to answer any question. At the end the meal together was really nice - the city hike was worth it for that.

We enjoyed the Food Tour very much. The guide was very good and friendly. He had a lot of knowledge about the city and knew an answer to all our questions. It was the best activity we did in London. We also enjoyed the British food. This activity is highly recommended!

Loved the tour but the food part disappointed.

The tour was outstanding but the food tour was basically the guide finding us a place to sit near Bourough Market and he went around and collected the foods and presented them all at once like a waiter. I’ve been on a few food tours and it’s never done that way.
