Full description

Enjoy a day trip from Zurich to the winter wonderland of Mount Titlis with a guide. Discover the beauty of Lake Lucerne, enjoy a scenic drive to Engelberg, experience an unforgettable adventure on the Ice Flyer chairlift, and cross the Titlis Cliff Walk bridge suspended over the Swiss Alps. Departing from Zurich, take a bus ride over the Albis Pass and along the shores of Lake Lucerne on the way to the city of Lucerne. Once there, take a short tour of the city's most important sights, including a photo stop at the Lion Monument or Vierwaldstätter Lake, depending on traffic.

Afterward, enjoy some free time to explore Lucerne on your own. From there, continue the journey to Engelberg. The breathtaking ride up into the high alpine glaciers of Mount Titlis begins here.

From the Rotair revolving cable car on your way up to the mountain, get spectacular views of the deep crevasses in the glaciers, and the immense chunks of ice that break off in spectacular fashion. Enjoy incredible views over the Swiss Alps from the Panorama Restaurant on top of Mount Titlis. Visit the Ice Grotto, or take the Ice Flyer chairlift to get up close to the glaciers at an altitude of over 9,800 feet (3,000 meters).

Adventure seekers can slide through the snow and down the mountainside on a snow tube  – the choice is yours.

The entire tour was well managed from the time we got into the bus in Zurich and all the way back again. Both Kristina and Vladimir (the guides from Best of Switzerland) were excellent hosts, friendly, engaging, and pleasant. The bus was comfortable, the drive smooth, and the entire trip was well organized. We stopped in Lucerne and had some time to look around before heading up to Mount Titlis.

Absolutely worth every penny ! Well managed on time and wonderful experience. There was enough time to do all the activities on the top . Didn’t know it was a big group - probably wouldn’t have booked it . But luckily the guide was awesome to manage 70 people . For the shoes and clothes - you can rent it up , just before you get into the ice flyer . But it was summer and I was okay with a trainer and a fleece . Overall one of the amazing trips !!!

The tour was lovely. The coach was very comfortable and airconditioned. The tour guide, a lovely lady, was very knowledgeable and gave lots of information during the trip (from start to finish). Though it was a 9.5-hour tour, time went by quickly because it was enjoyable and had lots of activities to do. The Mount Titlis visit was the highlight of this trip. I had an amazing time on this mountain. I was glad the weather was good and had the opportunity to do most activities. It did change and became cloudy/foggy when it was time to leave. Lucky us. Here's a short video of my time on the mountain P.S Although it was summer, it was cold on the mountain. A warm jacket and good shoes for snow/ice are recommended. They do rent out jackets there as well.
