Know before you go
- No previous kayaking experience is needed and even children from age 6, accompanied by parents, can participate. You will be paddling in a 2-person sit-on-top kayak with an optional child seat, and your kayak is easy and safe to navigate. Waterproof containers are available for personal items (camera, drinks, etc.). Don’t forget to bring shorts or a bathing suit, T-shirt, spare socks and sandals (or sport shoes), towel, sun cream, and water. In case of colder weather take a long-sleeved shirt with you.
- The summers are typically warm and sunny. From May to October temperatures are comfortable for hiking, paddling, and swimming. Rain is always a possibility in Croatia so it is essential to bring adequate rainwear and a jacket in case of inclement weather.
