Day 1: Madrid - Cordoba – Sevilla Depart Madrid, and drive by comfortable air-conditioned coach through the magnificent countryside of La Mancha to Cordoba. Spend some time exploring the city’s famous mosque and Jewish Quarter, before continuing for dinner and an overnight stay at the 4-star Hesperia Sevilla in the lovely Andalusian city of Seville. Day 2: Seville This morning a local guide will lead you on a tour of Andalusia’s most vibrant city to experience the sounds and sights of the radiant park of Maria Luisa, the mosaic walls of the Plaza de Espana, and the world’s largest Gothic cathedral at Seville Cathedral. Take in a typical Santa Cruz barrio, then enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Day 3: Seville - Granada After breakfast, depart for Granada, and visit the incredible Alhambra on arrival. Wander among the beautiful Nazari Palaces and monuments of the Generalife, and discover the best expression of Islamic art in Spain. The former palace and harem of the Moorish rulers contains sections that date back to the 9th century. An optional visit to the Sacromonte caves is available, as well as the chance to attend a typical flamenco show. Check in to the 4-star Meliá Granada Hotel for your overnight stay. Day 4: Granada - Valencia Depart Granada after breakfast and travel through the northern foothills of the Sierra Nevada. Admire views of the beautiful towns of Guadix, Baza, and Puerto Lumbreras en route to the Mediterranean resort of Valencia. Upon arrival, check in to the 4-star Silken Puerta Valencia or Tryp Oceanic Hotel. Day 5: Valencia - Barcelona Explore one of the liveliest cities in Spain, with free time at leisure to discover Valencia’s mix of old and new. Go to the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences to see the dramatic buildings of Santiago Calatrava, or wander the historic streets of the Old Town. Depart for Barcelona mid-morning, and drive up the coast of the Balearic Sea. Check in to the 4-star NH Constanza Hotel on arrival. Day 6: Barcelona After breakfast, enjoy a morning sightseeing tour of Barcelona’s historic neighborhoods. Go to Montjuic Park to visit the Olympic stadium, and enjoy panoramic views of the city below. Take in the monument to Christopher Columbus in the old port, and stroll the narrow streets of the Gothic Quarter. The afternoon is free to explore at leisure. Visit some of the Gaudi buildings of L’Eixample, such as the unfinished Sagrada Familia, or the ornate apartments of Passeig de Gracia. An optional night tour will take you down some of the city’s wide avenues to see fountains and monuments floodlit for the evening. Day 7: Barcelona - Zaragoza - Madrid Leave Barcelona, and drive throught the diverse Aragon landscape en route to Zaragoza. Enjoy some free time to explore sights such as the cathedral and Aljaferia Palace at your own pace, and discover an extraordinary mix of Islamic, Romanesque and Gothic architecture. Continue to Madrid for the end of your tour services.

Enjoy a 6-day guided tour of Cordoba, Sevilla, Granada, and Valencia, visiting impressive cultural and religious monuments. Enjoy accommodation in select hotels, daily breakfast, and guided tours in each location. Day 1 (Sunday) Barcelona – Zaragoza – Madrid Depart from Barcelona at 08:00, traveling through Lerida and Zaragoza on the way to Madrid. You’ll make some short stops along the way with some free time to explore. Overnight in Madrid. Day 2 (Monday) Madrid – Cordoba – Sevilla After breakfast you’ll take a drive through La Mancha country to Cordoba. Enjoy a sightseeing tour in Cordoba, and visit its famous mosque/cathedral and the old Jewish Quarter. Continue on to Sevilla, for dinner. Overnight in Sevilla. Day 3 (Tuesday) Sevilla Today you’ll enjoy half board at your Sevilla hotel. In the morning you’ll have a city tour, visiting the Park of María Luisa, Plaza de España, the exterior of the great cathedral and its tower, and the typical Barrio de Santa Cruz. Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. Overnight in Sevilla. Day 4 (Wednesday) Sevilla – Granada After breakfast in the hotel you’ll depart for Granada. Enjoy a sightseeing tour with visits to the impressive Alhambra with its beautiful Nazari palaces and the Generalife gardens. Dinner and overnight in Granada. Optional: Visit the caves of Sacromonte and attend a typical gipsy flamenco show. Day 5 (Thursday) Granada – Valencia After breakfast you’ll head out on a drive to Valencia via Guadix, Baza, and Puerto Lumbreras. Overnight on the Mediterranean coast in Valencia. Day 6 (Friday) Valencia – Barcelona You’ll have free time after breakfast before a mid-morning departure for Barcelona. Tour departures are available on Sundays throughout the year.
