From Porto Vromi: Shipwreck Beach Private Boat Cruise

1. From Porto Vromi: Shipwreck Beach Private Boat Cruise

Board your private boat for the day then set out on an adventure to discover some of Zakynthos’ most beautiful coastal locations. Depart from Porto Vromi and head to the first stop of the day, the fascinating Shipwreck Beach, also known as Navagio Beach. The beach is famous for being the resting place of a 1980 freight-liner shipwreck, which has been used as a filming location for many international TV series. Spend some time exploring the site and taking photos with the landmark as well as cooling off from the heat with a refreshing swim in the sea. Next, head to the magnificent Hidden Treasure Cave, one of the most beautiful caves in Zakynthos. Jump in the water and float around the cave, soaking up the magic of this glistening location and watching the suns' rays reflect against the turquoise water. Hop back on the boat and make your way to the next location where you can enjoy another swim stop and go snorkeling in search of colorful marine life. Other highlights of the cruise include Sfogio Beach, White Beach, Porto Steniti, the Secret Blue Cave, and Heart Cave. After an unforgettable day at sea, begin the return journey to Porto Vromi, stopping by the Profile of Poseidon rock formation along the way.

This was a great day out with our guide Theodore who was friendly and helpful, giving us lots of information about the area and answering all our questions. He also volunteered to take family photos at all the scenic viewpoints. The minibus tour was great but the high light of the trip had to be the boat excursion to Navagio (shipwreck) beach where you get to spend an hour before being taken to the blue caves. I was amazed how far they took the boat in to the caves, we were lucky that at one of the caves the water was not too choppy and were able to take a quick swim here too. Theodore didn’t join us on the boat trip but his colleague Kostas was also very pleasant. After the boat trip there is a quick lunch stop at a local taverna which was okay - my wife says her prawns were amazing. A quick stop at the oldest olive tree on the island and then back to be dropped if at our accommodation. A thouroughly good day and I felt it was great value.

This was a fantastic experience! We visited the Shipwreck and went swimming in the sea then our guide took us to use stunning blue caves! We swam in 1 Cave and were able to get off the boat in another Cave to look right inside. I'd recommend this trip to anyone who loves an adventure

Very simple tour. Get to check out the cave and then you get taken to a beautiful lookout for the sunset. Nice establishment right there for wine beer or other alcohol and snacks as well. Spent it there with my wife and was very romantic and sweet. We enjoyed it very much

Absolute must do!!! Best day so far, this place is gorgeous and the small tour really gives you more information with our tour guide. To see shipwreck beach from inside was just incredible. Definitely recommend.

Great trip, tour guide was very accommodating and saw some beautiful places! Would’ve been nice to see a few more turtles (we saw 3) but it was off season so still great to see and visit the other places.
