After you're picked up from your hotel or nearby accommodation, your guide will share with you the day's tour plan. Following this you will explore the north-east of Zakynthos Island, with time for photo stops in Katastari (with panoramic views of Alykes Beach), Xigia beach (a natural spa with sulfur and collagen) and Makris Gialos Beach (a crystal clear and rocky beach). Afterwards, you will have the chance to board a glass-bottom speedboat and visit the Navagio Shipwreck beach. On the way back to the harbor, you'll get the chance to swim inside the beautiful blue caves of the area. When you arrive back from your boating experience, it will be time for lunch at the shipwreck panoramic viewpoint. Following lunch, your tour will wrap up with some more chances for photos in Exo Chora (a 2000-year-old olive tree), Agios Sostis (Cameo Island) and Kalamaki Beach (an 8-kilometer beach). Set sail from Porto Vromi Maries and sail to Navagio Beach, voted one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Famous for its shipwreck, Navagio Beach also boasts crystal clear waters and the staggering natural color combinations that make up a landscape to excite every visitor. Only accessible by sea, the beach (also known as "Shipwreck Beach") is legendary as the site of the wreck of the MV Panagiotis that ran aground and washed up on the sand in 1980. Get up close to the boat following a short 15-minute cruise from the port of Porto Vromi Maries. Then, enjoy at least 1 hour to soak up the Mediterranean sun at the beach. Ask the captain to stay longer without extra charge if you wish! Return towards Porto Vromi Maries and stop for a swim at the blue caves, the hidden beach of  Sfogio or the paradise beach of Porto Steniti. See the natural formations of the “Neptune Profile” cave before getting dropped off at the port of Porto Vromi Maries. The total trip duration is at least 2.5 to 3 hours but can be extended upon request, depending on how long you want to stay on "Shipwreck Beach."

After being picked up from your accommodation, set off to begin your 3-hour eco-friendly turtle spotting cruise. Climb aboard a special glass-bottomed boat and embark on your journey through the National Marine Park surrounding the island.  Make a photo stop at the famous Cameo Islet, which was created by the 1633 earthquake. Take unique photos (guaranteed sightings) of the turtles from up close, and take the opportunity to swim amongst them in their natural habitat.  After this, explore the enchanting Keri Caves, and pass underneath the “Kamares”, before enjoying another swimming opportunity in the clear waters. Finally, arrive at the turtle-shaped island of Marathonisi. Swim and have fun at the Golden Nesting Beach which is home to the loggerhead sea turtle Caretta Caretta. You will also have the chance to admire the stunning caves.

4. From St.Nikolaos: Boat Cruise to Navagio Beach & Blue Caves

Meet the captain "Takis Karidis" at noon (12.30 PM) with your tickets at the port of St. Nikolaos on the northeastern side of Zakynthos island. After a short meet and greet with your skipper, you will set off into the horizon aboard your boat for a jam-packed day full of adventure.  Your first stop of the day will be Navagio beach, arriving at approximately 1:15 PM just as the big boats leave, offering you a more private experience as you enjoy and explore without large crowds. While approaching the famous shipwreck beach, the captain will share with you the true story of the abandoned boat and help you land on the beach with safety. After 1 to 1.5-hours, your captain will call you back to board the boat once again, so you can head to your next destination - the Blue Caves.  After leaving the Navagio behind you will eventually find yourself at the Blue Caves. On the glass-bottom boat, you will be able to see the clear deep water and observe fish, corals and the rich sea life. If you feel up to it, you can ask your skipper for a life vest and even swim in the crystal clear blue waters. End your day back at the dock where you first boarded the boat.

Start with pickup from your hotel and discover the highlights of the southern region of Zakynthos. The first stop will be at the Argassi Bridge which was constructed in 1885. This bridge is now situated off the coast of the island but was once a river crossing. Then, stop at Kalamaki Beach to learn about the turtle nests in the area. Next, embark on a 3-hour boat cruise from the port in the town of Laganas. Stop at the nearby island of Marathonisi where you can admire its beautiful caves and white sand beaches. Keep a look out for the Caretta turtles who inhabit the surrounding waters. Continue by sailing to the Keri Caves located on the southern coast of Zakynthos, where you can enjoy a stop for swimming. t After a convenient pickup from your hotel, head to Kalamaki beach on Zante's southern shores. Enjoy the pristine beach with soft sand and warm waters, protected by National Marine Park. Explore the history of olive oil making on the island with experts.  Enjoy free tasters of local olives and traditional bread with different flavored extra virgin olive oils (most likely lemon, orange, and garlic). Take a sample of olive oil shampoo, soap, body cream, or face cream. You can also buy these products to support local businesses.

Marvel at the works of nature as you sail through blue waters on this boat cruise. Explore various islands and get the chance to see exotic and protected species. After being picked up from your accommodation, begin your cruise from the port of Agios Sostis. From there, sail south with your guide to the stunning Keri Caves, where you will be given fantastic photo opportunities. Then, cruise to the small island of Marathonisi, also known as Turtle Island because of its shape. This trip was amazing! The shipwrecked beach will not disappoint and neither will the blue cave tours. There was so many great extras that I did not know came with tour. The tour guide was fantastic, so helpful and had a great sense of humour
