Zagreb: 2.5-Hour Cycle Back to Socialism Tour

3. Zagreb: 2.5-Hour Cycle Back to Socialism Tour

After meeting for the beginning of your tour in the city center, you will begin your lovely adventure. From here, cycle through the lower town, partially strolling the Green Horseshoe area, as the neighboring landscape transforms to a completely different surrounding. You will witness a very sudden change in the blink of eye. Crossing the river will cause you to enter the Balkan zone, safely cycling on long ago established cycling lanes. Here you'll get to see the development of the city since the post-World War II era, mainly through that "mystical" time of communism, seeing how it breathes today as it remains the main housing area of Zagreb. New Zagreb is currently also a cradle of a very vivacious Croatian contemporary art scene. You will cycle through the "sleeping over" area of the city, check the Contemporary Art Museum and shady and often very peaceful Bundek park with lakes. While cycling back over the bridge you'll have one of the loveliest sights on the city, and realize why Zagreb is such a city to love, complete with the mountains in the background.

Merci Alida!

OMG this was a VERY good tour. With all that is going on in the world right now (COVID) people not traveling as much... It was just my husband (who have not gotten on a bike in over 20yrs) and I. You would think that with just the two of us and he would have shorten or made the tour short. He treated us well. Excellent tour. I would recommend hands down!!

A super 3 hour experience. Robert our guide was full of fun filled facts. He tailored the trip to suit all abilities, was considerate and made us feel like we knew Zagreb once we had completed the tour. Highly recommend anyone taking this tour.

Even though I was the only one this day, the tour continued and I really appreciated that. Nice tour, interesting stories and beautiful things seen. Had a really good experience!

Three hours well spent. Robert was very passionate about his city and really friendly. Highly recommended
