We booked this tour with an english speaking guide to make sure we understood what we were seeing. Well worth it. You could try doing it independently but you would miss so much information. Our guide Olga arrived and was excellent from the very outset. Her knowledge and passion for the tour was exceptional. Peter and Paul fortress excellent, followed by church of the spilled blood and onto St Isaac cathedral. Although we were the only two on the tour we found Olga made us feel like a member of her own family when it came to stop for a traditional russian lunch. When it came to the highlight of the tour which was the Hermitage museum this is where the expert guide Olga made the tour worth every penny. Her knowledge as we said earlier was brilliant. Booking through Get your guide was the first time we have booked experiences online but will definitely be using this website in the future. Rob and Vanessa Newell

Super organized and seen a lot

Our 2 day tour with TJ - Travel was very good. We were already expected at the cruise terminal, even though we had left the ship an hour before the agreed meeting point. Our group consisted of 14 travelers and the whole tour was well organized. A big advantage was that we never had to wait long. Some of the tickets had already been procured by an agency member who was just waiting for us and we were able to enter the Catherine Palace or the Hermitage immediately through a side entrance. Other groups waited in front of the main entrances for hours. Our tour guide Daria and our driver Konstantin were extremely friendly and helpful. Requests for short stops to take a photo were immediately fulfilled. The program is very well designed and was immediately adapted to the current circumstances. A half marathon was just taking place in the city center, but we didn't miss anything. Full recommendation!

Great in every way

Alexandra is an excellent tour guide who showed us St. Petersburg competently and with heart. The organization of the two days was completely smooth and there was never any stress, even though the program was very tight. The group size was very pleasant, the food was good to very good. I can therefore always recommend TJ Travels.

Absolutely wonderful experience that was informative and efficient. Our guide was top notch, friendly and extremely helpful. Any question we could think of she was delighted to inform us. Best tour I’ve been on yet -
