Full description
When you arrive at the Uluru Camel Farm, you will briefly enjoy some spare time to take in the surroundings, meet the staff, see the camels and visit and/or feed our barnyard animals: there's kangaroo, water buffalo, emu, ducks and more. After a safety briefing from the staff, you will be introduced to your friendly camel by name and learn how to get on and off him. When it's your time to climb on, the camel experts will guide you through every step of the way! Once on your camel's back, you will be guided to the bush track and embark into the spectacular desert for your one-hour camel ride. Your skilled cameleer guides will entertain and educate, telling you fascinating stories about the territory. You'll also learn many interesting camel facts, from their history in Central Australia to their behaviors, personalities and biology. The guides will be able to answer any questions you might have about your camel. Watch the majestic sun set from atop a sand dune. From this vantage point, you will enjoy stunning views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta, and watch their colors change before your eyes. You will then return to the farm at twilight to relax and enjoy Australian beer, wine, champagne and outback bush foods including the farm's famous freshly baked beer-bread damper. Enjoy time to browse various camel related items (books, souvenirs etc) including bush dukkah and other delicious foods and trinkets to commemorate your time at the camel farm.

Very good experience!

We really enjoyed this activity! Seen from afar from the uluru with sunset, the camel ride was very pleasant, we were from a concession of 7 camels. The guides are great, they tell lots of stories during the ride, and offer to take your picture (also with your phone). I recommend !! No personal luggage on the camel, pockets are available for water bottles and for your phone, but be careful that the camel from behind does not come and chew you!

An unforgettable experience!!

The scheduled day there was a storm and they had to suspend the activity for safety, the staff was very professional and friendly, they rescheduled or returned the payment, in our case we rescheduled for the next day at dawn, again the staff showed their professionalism and the activity exceeded my expectations The camels are very tall, the equipment is safe and comfortable, the walk is quiet and the stops for observation are very good, along the way they gave us information about the territory and the camels. Thank you for the experience !!!
