I had the best time with this tour! I would rate it 10 stars if I could. The first thing that caught my eye with this tour was that it was only one night and that was the perfect amount of time to explore everything around the area. Mark was the best guide! He was very knowledgable about the history and culture of everything and kept everyone interested. He was also very outgoing and loved getting to know everyone. You can tell he loves his job. I loved that this tour is a small one also. The surrounding areas were so beautiful and such a peaceful area. Mark knew the best places to take sunset pictures and great pictures in general. After the sunset we got to our campsite and had a wonderful meal waiting for us that was healthy and delicious! Another reason I loved this experience was we were able to sleep outside in a swag under the stars! It was absolutely amazing. The next morning we had a great breakfast then went about to watch the sunrise and go for a hike! 10/10 would recommend
I'm so grateful Mark started this 2-day service to Uluru because I wouldn't have been able to experience it otherwise. The area itself was so much more amazing than I expected! With over 10 years of experience in the area, Mark knows his stuff -- from the historical and cultural background to logistics and how to maximise your time between flights. Things I liked: TWO-DAY TOUR - This option was ideal: In and out of Uluru Airport. Done. All the other tours seem to require 3-4 days on a tour, long hours driving to/from Alice Springs and time/money on accommodation there - all of which I didn't want to do. KNOWLEDGE, PROFESSIONALISM, RESPECT: Mark knew so much about the area - the geography, history, culture, local language. His respect for aboriginal culture was sincere, compassionate, enlightening and well-informed. I came with an appreciation of indigenous culture but it was greatly enhanced listening to how he talked about the way of life of aboriginal people past and present.
Our experience with the Rockstar TN tour was really good. We had such good days. Mark, the Tour guide made us laugh as much as possible. I travelled with my Mum which is 54 years Old. She had not at all problems. It was super good that we have been a small group. So, we had the stories and attention directly from our Tour Guide. The timing between the different places was always perfect. From beginning the Airport till the drop off at the Airport. We have never been at a place where have been a lot of other people. Only flies have been everywhere. But we get used to very fast. He told us a lot of the Aboriginal Culture. The hike between the magnificent domes of Kata Tjuta was breathtaking. Our Conclusion is that the Rockstar TN make the best Uluru Camping Adventure! Thank you Mark so much for the amazing time we had with you and Roxy (the Bus).
Ryan was an incredible guide. He was truly passionate about the content he was sharing and very knowledgeable. Above all, he was just a great guy. I couldn’t recommend him higher. The tour itself was also spectacular. Uluru is even more amazing than you could ever imagine. The mix of driving and walking was perfect, and the sunset setup with drinks and treats was really lovely. I didn’t feel like I missed out on anything with this tour.
We had a great time with this tour it was nice to have a small group of people and a great tour guide(John) that had lots of stories to tell about Uluru. Only disappointing part was the sunset but you can't control the weather. I wish we had booked the small group tour for the next day with John to Kata Tjuta as it is so much nicer and you learn alot more about the area will definitely book small group tour next time.
