I had the best time with this tour! I would rate it 10 stars if I could. The first thing that caught my eye with this tour was that it was only one night and that was the perfect amount of time to explore everything around the area. Mark was the best guide! He was very knowledgable about the history and culture of everything and kept everyone interested. He was also very outgoing and loved getting to know everyone. You can tell he loves his job. I loved that this tour is a small one also. The surrounding areas were so beautiful and such a peaceful area. Mark knew the best places to take sunset pictures and great pictures in general. After the sunset we got to our campsite and had a wonderful meal waiting for us that was healthy and delicious! Another reason I loved this experience was we were able to sleep outside in a swag under the stars! It was absolutely amazing. The next morning we had a great breakfast then went about to watch the sunrise and go for a hike! 10/10 would recommend
Our tour guide was a 20 year old, mulleted Melbourner named Jakob. He was an exceptional guide. Our three hour hike along the hike was packed with fascination information both geological and biological. Like many features in nature, water had the most dramatic impact on this canyon. 450 million years ago this rock formation was the sea bed in an ocean. These fossilised ripples were seen throughout the trail. Furthermore, the dramatic canyon expands in size because of rainwater and its impact. The plant life had developed complex systems of mating in these harsh conditions. Water was used and stored efficiently. The aptly named 'Garden of Eden' showcased the storage capacity for rainwater. Unsurprisingly, lush green trees grew in this area. One aspect of this trip which impressed me was the depth and variety of the knowledge of our guide Jakob. Only 20 years old and a temporary transplant from Melbourne, there was never a question asked in which an answer evaded him.
Our experience with the Rockstar TN tour was really good. We had such good days. Mark, the Tour guide made us laugh as much as possible. I travelled with my Mum which is 54 years Old. She had not at all problems. It was super good that we have been a small group. So, we had the stories and attention directly from our Tour Guide. The timing between the different places was always perfect. From beginning the Airport till the drop off at the Airport. We have never been at a place where have been a lot of other people. Only flies have been everywhere. But we get used to very fast. He told us a lot of the Aboriginal Culture. The hike between the magnificent domes of Kata Tjuta was breathtaking. Our Conclusion is that the Rockstar TN make the best Uluru Camping Adventure! Thank you Mark so much for the amazing time we had with you and Roxy (the Bus).
This was an excellent tour. Kings Canyon was my favourite activity in NT. A magical and breath taking place. Will & Dill were excellent hosts. It is a long tour but totally worth it. I was able to sleep on the bus both ways and they stopped the perfect amount of times with access to toilets, food etc. The bush brekky was top notch! Overall very pleased and a great memory of my trip. The climb wasn't that strenuous but we did have lovely weather (not too hot).
So, so happy we decided to do this hike! I was initially concerned because I didn't see it much when I was researching for my trip, but I am glad we did it. Jake, our guide, was very friendly and super attentive-my dad is on the older side and he made sure to give us proper warning and help in the more strenuous parts of the walk. He was highly focused on our safety and offered plenty of interesting facts and knowledge through the trek.
