This was a fantastic tour and Mario was a very knowledgeable guide. Not only did he know everything you could think to ask about the Mayan culture and Chichen Itza site, he was also knowledgeable about other sites in the Mayan and Aztec world. He has many years of experience as a professional guide and a true passion for this subject and for others seeking to understand a different culture. Sure, you can get a cheaper experience, but it will be more like a taxi ride rather than a tour. He was there to pick us up directly at our hotel with a nice vehicle including A/C. He also had beverages ready for us, reading material about the Mayans and would ask frequently if we needed a restroom break. He took us to a fantastic cenote and restaurant for lunch (not the typical tourist buffet). The benefit of a private tour is that you run on your own schedule, no rushing in the crowds and it's completely worry free as he takes care of all the tolls, tickets and logistics.

Great tour! We visited pyramids, had lunch, took a swim in the sinkhole, tour of town. Happy we picked this one. Tour guide Pastor and Richie were excellent from beginning to end making the long trip fun.

Great day trip! The tour guides made it interesting and enjoyable!

Everything went seamlessly, from our pick-up time to our arrival back to the hotel zone, 12 hours later. We enjoyed every minute, despite the torrential rain at Chichen Itza.

Great adventure!!! I enjoyed it, and great to know everyone on my trip. Tomas, our tour guide has a lot of knowledge about history! I loved swimming in the cenote

I would recommend the extra meal for breakfast and 2 drinks for lunch. It’s cheaper than the restaurant. So much history and a fun spiritual learning experience.
