What people are saying about Yorkshire and The Humber

Very enjoyable tour of York, we boarded at Clifford's Tower as it was 5 mins from our hotel. There was a recorded voice explaining places of interest along the way. Got off at Exhibition Square, as we wanted to visit York Minster and do some shopping. Boarded again, and there was a commentator with a microphone talking to the passengers this time. He was very knowledgeable and quite funny too. We got off again by our hotel. I would recommend this trip to see parts of York that you may miss just walking round.

This, in my opinion, is THE way to get a good understanding of York. We were fortunate to have an excellent tour guide (human not recorded) and we managed to hop on and off three times and each time got the same bus and guide. He recognized us each time.

Excellent knowledge of guides. Good way to learn about the history of York before exploring.

Great way to get an overview of the city and then decide what to do.

Took in all major sites, good commentary, polite helpful drivers
