This was a really unusual and very interesting tour - it was a great sweep through history demonstrated by the City architectural remains - we particularly enjoyed the parallels the guide drew between Henry V111’s split from Europe and Brexit. Alfred our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, quirky and passionate about his subject. We did several tours while in York and this was by far the best.
Our guide Alfred was extremely knowledgeable about York and its history and he made our visit such a lovely time. His historic background was a big plus et we learnt a lot. The tour was well-balanced between explanations and walks. Highly recommended
Sarah, our guide, was very knowledgeable and therefore made this walking tour very interesting. My only criticism is that in such a historical city, I’m sure walk could have been longer than 1 hour.
The tour was fantastic Sarah was amazing she gave us lots of information about the history of York we really enjoyed the day
Alfred our guide was excellent and fun and so knowledgeable. We discovered so much about York in such a short space of time
