Discover the variety of grapes that are used here and taste some of the oldest wines of Armenia to get a real flavor of the region. Next, enjoy stunning scenic views on the drive towards the next destination, the ‘Wings of Tatev’. The ‘Wings of Tatev’ is the longest cable car in the world, measuring 6 km. Ride the cable car and admire the breathtaking scenery along the way, including the Harsnadzor Watchtower and Devil’s Bridge.

Great value. 10 hour trip. Included a great lunch. Cable car and monastery were fantastic. Haiyek (sp?) was an awesome guide. Took care of everyone to include ensuring us two Americans understood everything. The winery could be skipped or changed for another better one. But all in all fantastic trip! Highly recommend.

Trip was nice and the guide was narrating in both English and Russian. I would have given 5 starts as they did not show us one spot which is included in the tour - Shaki Waterfall. Also, snacks / sweets were not provided which is another thing included in the tour description.

Tatev, Armenia is home to the beautiful 9th century Monastery of Tatev, which also served as a university in the 14th and 15th centuries. All around you can find breathtaking views. Our guide Arevik from Yerani Travel gave a good explanation re the historical background of Tatev monastery. It’s a long day trip but worth it with the stunning Shaki Waterfall and the luscious scenic vineyard as the tour journeyed through the wine region.
