Full description
Discover everything from the beautiful Mountain view to the historic architecture in Armenia that offers you a guided full-day trip. Your first stop will be Amberd, a fortress on the southern slope of Mount Aragats, founded in the 7th century. Surrounded by deep gorges, this fortress was the family estate of the family of Pahlavuni in the 10-13 century. Your second stop is Lake Kari, It is located 3,185 meters above sea level and has a perimeter of 1,150 meters on the slope of Mount Aragats, Armenia's highest point (4090 meters). Most of its water comes from ice and snow. Next is the Alley of Armenian Letters (Alphabet Alley), which was built on the slopes of Mount Aragats in honor of the 1600th anniversary of the creation of the Armenian alphabet. This monument is unique not only in Armenia but all around the World. The letters and a statue of Mashtots pay tribute to the complex and unique language, national pride of Armenia. Explore Saghmosavank, a 13th-century Armenian monastic complex notable for its biblical-themed frescoes and perfect harmony with the surrounding environment – the Kasakh gorge's vertical cliffs. Discover the secrets of Armenian sweets during a master class in an Armenian village garden at the end of the tour.
