Visit the representative part, find out the history of the rise and fall of the family, hear about the incredible fortune, high society scandals, tragedies, and why the castle still holds some mysteries.  The final site on your tour is the marvelous Church of Peace in Swidnica, rightly earning its place on the UNESCO World Heritage Site list. A magnificent masterpiece of sacred art, it was originally built by the Protestants out of wood, straw and clay in the 17th century. Swidnica is also the birthplace of World War I air force legend Manfred von Richthofen, also known as the “Red Baron.” You will have the opportunity to see his modest house.
