Full description
Explore Wroclaw with the convenience of a roundtrip, private transfer in a luxurious Mercedes Benz. Suitable for up to 6 guests, this tour will take you to discover the hidden gems of Wroclaw while learning its history and soaking up its rich atmosphere.  Situated at the foot of the Sudetes, by the Oder river, Wroclaw is an exceptional city of 12 islands connected by more than 100 bridges. Although nearly 70% of its buildings were damaged during the war, many have since been restored or rebuilt, retaining the city's historic charm. Visit the Gothic town hall in Market Square and admire the Gothic-style churches such as the Cathedral of St. Nicholas, St. Cross, and the Virgin Mary on the Sand. Admire the main Baroque buildings of Wroclaw University, all the while keeping an eye out for the Dwarfs of Wroclaw – a series of over 300 small bronze krasnal (gnomes), scattered around the city. Catch the gnomes eating ice cream, withdrawing money from an ATM, and even delivering a pizza on your walk through the city.  Explore Ostrów Tumski (Cathedral Island), the oldest part of the city, and admire the fantastic architecture of the St. John Baptist Cathedral and the Holy Cross church. Venture to Słodowa Island (Malt Island), the greenest of the 6 old town islands and a favorite place for outdoor lounging and summer concerts. Enjoy a walk through this tranquil setting while learning about the city's history and recovery from World War II.  Break for lunch during the tour and return to your coach at the end of the day for the return trip to Warsaw.
