What people are saying about Wineglass Bay

We had a great day, the best weather and all the staff were helpful and friendly. The landscape / seascape was spectacular. We were able get up close to the rock formations, Waterfall Bay and the wildlife. The dolphins came up close to the boat on many occasions giving everyone a chance to see and photograph them. Cruising into Wine Glass Bay was amazing with the beautiful beach scene and clear aqua / blue waters. The lunch included in our package was really yummy and plenty of it. It was awesome to eat lunch in an amazing environment and have time to take it all in. This cruise is a must do if you are in this part of the world. The staff really enjoy their job and it shows as it was evident everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day out. We will definitely be back to do more day trips with Pennicott Wilderness Journeys when we are back in Tasmania.

A very well organised cruise with a young but excellent crew, all enthusiastic and keen to ensure you enjoy yourselves. The crew and captain provide a great overview of the sights and are very informative. We were very luck to see a group of 30+ Orca’s surrounding the boat, an event that delighted everyone on board, not a regular event we were told! We also saw a sea eagle nest, seals a couple of albatrosses as well as the wonderful beaches, waterfalls and rock formations. The lunch was excellent too. Can’t fault it, left feeling elated!

We are so glad we booked this cruise, as it was the highlight of our stay on the east coast. Tahlia did a great job of looking after us in the Sky Lounge and Noah was a brilliant driver with interesting commentary along the way. We were lucky to have perfect weather conditions and were thrilled to see dolphins, seals, albatross and flying fish. Food and drink were plentiful and excellent quality, especially the oysters!

A thoroughly enjoyable experience with attentive crew and comfortable boat. Such a beautiful part of the world and we were lucky enough to have a pod of dolphins accompany us for part of our cruise. As I am susceptible to motion sickness I took my own precautions prior to leaving and was glad I did even though the ride was quite smooth. Ginger tablets were made available at start of cruise. Lunch was great.

Driver Nicholas was excellent and told us more about the area than would normally be the case. Fantastic knowledge.
