Hua Hin: Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand Full-Day Visit

1. Hua Hin: Wildlife Friends Foundation Thailand Full-Day Visit

Meet your driver at your accommodation in Hua Hin, Cha-Am, Pran Buri or Phetchaburi and drive to the Wildlife Friends Foundation in Phetchaburi. When you arrive, meet and greet your guide for the day. Follow an informed guided tour around all areas of the center as you see some of the rescued animals, hear their stories, and learn why they are living at the center. At noon, enjoy lunch and refreshments including a Thai buffet looking over the large multi-species enclosure with elephants, gibbons, and other animals. The various meal options consist of vegan, vegetarian, and meat. After lunch, meet and feed one of the elephants. See how the volunteers at the elephant refuge go about their daily tasks. Learn about the elephant’s individual stories and personalities. Find out about the conservation issues that elephants face, and how they are exploited by tourist attractions, forced to carry lots of people and perform tricks – you will see none of this at the elephant refuge, where the elephant's natural behavior is of paramount importance. Finally, drive around the whole site and get to see the bears and monkeys enjoying their meal before the tour ends at approximately 3:30 PM. Your tour ends with a transfer back to your accommodation.

Great service, collected at my hotel and brought to the venue, our leader Natalie was very knowledgeable and interesting, my favourite are the elephants, so I was happy out - had a lively lunch, great day out and highly recommended

Fabulous day trip Sanctuary is wonderful So many saved animals Staff working hard to save lives Definitely worth a visit just to learn the truth about how these animals were treated. Natalie was our guide She was great

It was a very great and interesting, but also partly sad (due to the stories about the rescued animals) tour. The day trip is always worth it! We would do it again and again and also recommend it :)

Very interesting project and totale sensful. I am thinking about Staiing Over german Winter in Thailand . Thema i Would like to work there as a volonteer.

Such a fantastic experience, highly recommended! Harsh stories about the animals' past lives, but heartwarming to see them thrive and be happy.
