Discover the magic of the Pinnacles Desert on a guided tour. Head west to the Turquoise Coast and keep an eye out for native wildlife. Stop in Lancelin for a walk along the beach. Experience the thrill of sandboarding down giant sand dunes. Board the bus and visit Ngilgen Lookout to see seasonal wildflowers (spring time only) and admire views over the Indian Ocean. Go for a guided walk on the beach at Hangover Bay to see native plants that were used by the Aboriginals for food and medicine when they lived off the land. If we stop at Nilgen Nature Reserve we normally don't have time to stop here as well. Enjoy dinner in the middle of the the Pinnacles Desert, accompanied by a glass of Margaret River wine. See the sunset over the Indian Ocean and later marvel at the stars with the help of Astro binoculars and a telescope.  See the Rings of Saturn (in season) through the telescope and photograph the moon by attaching your smartphone to the telescope.

Embark on cruise from Broome and admire the colors of the sunset from the magic of the water. Savor mouth-watering snacks and purchase beer, wine, and cocktails from the licensed onboard bar.  Be picked up from your hotel in Broom take part in a brief tour on the way to the beach. Kick off your shoes and feel the beautiful sand of Cable Beach and wet your feet in the warm Indian Ocean as you make your way to the waiting tender. Transfer to the spacious catamaran and travel along the pristine coastline, jump into the boom net to cool off, or relax and take in Broome’s ambiance with a cocktail in hand. Snack on delicious canapes as you glide across the water.  Transfer back to shore by tender at the end of your cruise and return to your hotel in Broome.

4. Marine Eco Safari - Swim With Manta Rays

Join this 5 to 6 hour Marine Eco Safari aboard the Kurni-Ku, custom built to specifically navigate around the Heritage Listed Ningaloo Reef. It is the perfect way to experience one of the few places in the world with a resident population of Manta Rays all year round! Your tour begins at 8:00 AM at the Coral Bay Ecotours office (unless otherwise informed), followed by a short bus transfer to the jetty to board the vessel. Then you will head out for your first reef snorkel experience in Bills Bay, where you may encounter numerous fish, reef sharks, and other marine species and the beautiful coral gardens. After morning tea you will visit the sea turtle sanctuary where you can observe turtles feeding and surfacing for air. You will then head to Bateman’s Bay, where, with the assistance of a spotter plane, there is the opportunity to snorkel with Manta Rays. On the return home, you will stop for an afternoon snorkel.

Set off from Perth and discover Western Australia on this day trip. I really enjoyed this experience. The driver and tour guide Claude was exceptional and made the tour very personal, learning everyone's name instantly. Food was also exceptional. I would highly recommend this tour. I travelled with family but it is definitely something which you could do travelling alone or with groups.

The Pinnacles Desert Sunset and Star-Gazing Tour was the best thing we did while in Perth. From pick-up to drop off Gavin and Sam looked after us amazingly and went above and beyond to ensure all tour members had a wonderful time.
