What people are saying about West Coast, South Island

The cruise was nice and perfectly relaxing. Looking back the alpine background as you paddle towards the peninsula gives a unique tranquility base. The guide is very knowlegeable about the wildlife and the environment. I would not have appreciated a lot of local knowledge and fieldcraft survival if she did not show us. The guide looked after not only our comfort and safety but also in making sure the whole trip was recorded in digital photo without a charge. It very unique experience worth the time and the price.

Thoroughly enjoyed the day. We could have spent a little more time at each location, particularly in the Hokitika Gorge. Sitting at the rear of the vehicle meant there were times we could not hear the commentary but overall well recommended. Driver shared good local knowledge which made the day interesting.

Bob picked us up from our hotel. What a nice guy. Couldn’t have been more helpful. In fact we were over the moon with this tour. The Pancakes were at the top of my list! Carole @ Mike, UK

Lovely, interesting coastline with stunning rock formations, sea was calm so no blowhole activity. Good informative guide, nice short walk through tropical forest too.

The best kayaking I've done, the weather was amazing, our guide was very informative
