Full description

Enjoy the sights of the world-famous Ring of Kerry on this small group tour. You’ll see breathtaking scenery like Ireland’s highest mountain, the Carrauntoohil, experience Killarney National Park, stroll through the Kerry Bog Village, and more.

The first thing you’ll see when leaving Killarney is the famous Gap of Dunloe, the MacGillycuddy's Reeks mountain range, and, of course, Ireland’s highest mountain, the epic Carrauntoohil.

From there it’s on to the Kerry Bog Village, which offers fascinating insights into how people lived and worked in Ireland in the 18th century.

You’ll stop in Cahersiveen, one of the original towns along the Ring of Kerry. One of its many attractions is the Daniel O’Connell Memorial Church, named for one of Ireland’s most important historical figures, Daniel O’Connell, often referred to as the Liberator.

The next stop is the village of Waterville, where you can enjoy a walk along the seafront while taking in the charming surroundings. Majestic viewing points offer stunning views of the Atlantic Ocean.

Learn the often tragic history of Ireland and hear folklore from qualified local guides.

Return to Killarney through the rugged Moll's Gap and take in the beauty of Killarney National Park.

1. On a cool day, the people in the rear of the bus were HOT. NO AC! 2. The driver got much too political, repeatedly slamming AirB&B for a variety of Irish troubles. He was relentless with this topic. We wanted to hear about the country, the scenery, the local history...

Stephen was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. We have been touring Ireland in our own car so taking a commercial tour was a nice break from driving. All the stops were nice. Very picturesque. The bus fit about 18 or 20 passengers so it was not one of the really big buses. Really liked that. In Cahersiveen it was a Sunday and shops and the like we're closed so we strolled to the marina and enjoyed a snack we brought with. We did not get to actually stop at Ladies View because it was very busy and very little parking for buses. We stopped shortly before and had great views from there. We did get to stop at Torc Waterfalls which was very nice. The sky cleared up and we had the sunniest day in weeks so we thoroughly enjoyed all of our stops.

Great to be driven around the Ring of Kerry. Not sure I’d be keen to drive myself .. to distracted by the scenery. Driver explained history, local sights, day was long but well spaced with stops and venues. We had a ckk look eat day and saw heaps … Irish luck!
