The Kayak Combo is the combination of our Pelican Point Kayaking morning tour and an afternoon 4x4 ride in the breathtaking Sandwich Harbour Area of the Namib Naukluft Park.

We spend the morning kayak next to our permanent seal colony at the tip of the Pelican Point Peninsula about 35 km outside of Walvis Bay. We regularly encounter Heaviside’s and Benguella Dolphins.

Our kayaks are molded plastic sit-inside double kayaks. They are stable and suitable for inexperienced paddlers. Our guide will use a waterproof camera for some photos, which we will email to you withing a week after the tour (no extra cost). After refreshments, we head back to Walvis Bay to meet up with your Sandwich Harbour guide to see the Kuiseb River Delta, flamingoes, the saltpans and the wetlands just north of the Sandwich Harbour Lagoon.

If weather and tides allow, you will drive right to the Sandwich Harbour Lagoon, one of Southern Africa’s richest and unique wetlands. Alternatively, you will get a chance to see the lagoon area from one of our many beautiful lookout spots. We return to Walvis Bay around 16h30.
