1. Vught: Small Group Tour of the WWII National Memorial Camp
On this small group tour, we will visit the remainders of the concentration camp with its reconstructed watchtowers, barracks, crematorium and children’s memorial. This impressive memorial, which is centrally located on the campgrounds, lists the names and ages of the 1,269 Jewish children who were deported in June 1943. After a visit to the memorial center and museum, there will be time to walk to the execution area, located in the surrounding woods. A memorial has been erected here that displays the names of the prisoners who were executed at this site.
