Super fun to rent an E-scooter in Volendam! Nice route via Monnickendam to Marken. Here you can get on the boat back to Volendam with your E-scooter, but we did not do this. We liked it so much that we also went back to Volendam on the E-scooter. Super nice people also at the rental company, very friendly and helpful. In short…. highly recommended for a day in Volendam!

Riding a scooter in the area of Volendam is really fantastic! What a beautiful environment! I was lucky with the weather and we went for a swim along the way. We also drove a very nice route on the advice of a very sweet employee of Rent & Event (I think she was called Sterre) where we made stops at a cheese farmer (Jacob hoeves or the like) and in Monnickendam. You could return from Marken by boat, but we drove back because riding the scooter was so much fun! In short; really fun activity!

What a super fun experience to ride an electric scooter! They drive wonderfully and we have seen the most beautiful places in the area. You get an explanation about the possible routes and the stops along the way are really nice. We saw a windmill along the way, a cheese farm, we had lunch and we even swam along the dike to Marken at a private beach. Had a really great day!
