the chocolate museum was pretty average. unless you are interested in the production of chocolate I don't think it was worth the money. I really enjoyed our guide. He was very informative and quite witty. we only had two on our tour which doesn't usually happen but we had a good time because we got to do things at our own pace. we also really enjoyed Volendam. best fish and chips we've eaten
Our guide, Miguel, made the experience so much more special. He was attentive to our physical needs and was very knowledgeable about the places visited, the area and country. We had an amazing time, exploring all the demonstrations and shops. It was all at a leisurely pace and this made the experience very enjoyable. Highly recommended.
There is a lot of walking even though you are picked up at your hotel. We felt it was worth it. You don’t know what you are missing if you don’t leave Amsterdam. Just about 20 minutes outside of Amsterdam is all farm country. Our guide Mustalpha was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions.

Well this private tour was just the best value, what a brilliant day with a very knowledgeable and personable guide. Thank you for just the happiest day - the tea houses in Edam were just amazing, having a personal guide changed the tour from pleasant to amazing! Worth every penny and more.
Only criticism, the address was difficult to find. You should also add that the location is at the local ticket office/tourist office in Volendam. We walked around for 20min trying to find the location despite Google maps.
