Full description
Primorsky Aquarium, located on the shore of a bay in the north-eastern part of Russky Island, is undoubtedly a unique facility. Picturesque halls, exciting excursions, educational programs for children and adults, marine mammal shows, the opportunity to interact with dolphins, comfortable leisure areas, beautiful territory with diverse landscape including parks and waterfalls, shops and cafes — all these will make the aquarium one of the favorite leisure activities for residents and guests of Vladivostok. In the Primorsky Aquarium you will be able to see large-scale exhibits, which will show theories about the origin of the universe, evolution in the ocean, and also will present current biodiversity in the fresh and salt waters of the planet. Most of the exhibits will be live. They will let you meet inhabitants of Russia's waters in the Sea of Japan, East Sea, the Sea of Okhotsk and the Bering Sea, the Amur River, Lake Baikal, and Lake Khanka, as well as inhabitants of cool polar seas, warm tropical rivers and seas, and the open ocean. The Dolphinarium is located on the first floor of the main building. There will be 800 total seats in the underwater and above water observing zones. The system of pools will include quarantine pool, a pool for keeping dolphins and one for conducting shows. This system will create excellent opportunities for husbandry and training of marine mammals. There will be shows of belugas, sea lions and fur seals along with the dolphin shows. It’s hard to think of a better entertainment for children and parents! Animals will show you incredible things! They can do different acrobatic tricks, dance, sing, jump and play with kids. Their incomparable grace, friendliness, and intelligence deserve true admiration! The show will touch the bottom of your heart and will make a special and memorable time.

Best aquarium I have ever seen

Not only did this aquarium have fish, sharks, seals, octopi, etc, it had an indoor tropical botanical garden, and bananas were growing on the banana tree!
