They really know what they're doing here and make sure you're safe and that things run on time. You arrive at the visitor center, get your gear (helmet, crampons, ice pick, harness) and then we drive as a group to the glacier, less than 10 mins. We had about 30 people in our group and they had 3 guides. Benet (sp?) was our guide and he was knowledgeable and just the right amount of activity vs explanation. The visit to the ice cave was amazing and the hike on the glacier was unforgettable. Was a great experience!

We had a great experience. We felt super lucky to have Lutzia as our guide - she was super knowledgeable, super kind, and super fun. We had a great time and felt super confident with her even though we’d never done anything like this before! The 4 hour option was moderately strenuous (we slept great that night!) but definitely worth the views and experience.

This experience was so unique and amazing. We started out with a large group but broke off into groups of 8 with one guide each. Our guide was Joao and he was amazing. I love that it felt private with a group of only 8 and it felt like something not every tourist gets to/is able to do. It really felt like an adventure. The hike was difficult at times but that made the experience all the more satisfying. The cave was small but beautiful to see. I love that Joao explained how they form and answered all of our questions. This was 100% the highlight of our trip to Iceland and something I'd recommend to anyone who visits.
