Overall this was a life fulfilling experience. The day I went was the second day all year the area was snowy. It made for a breath-taking site. The journey to the glacier was something. We got stuck in the snow for a bit which made the adventure more unique. But the jeep truck we were in plowed through after a bit of luck. Once we got to the glacier area its about a 15 min walk to the glacier cave. I'd say the cave it's self wasn't much. I imagined walking into a glacier, and the cave being much longer. However overall the experience was great.

I really enjoyed the glacier walk. I wish that the group was smaller so we didn’t have to wait for groups to go inside the cave. If we had been a group of 10-15 we would only have to wait for 2 groups instead of the 4-5 we had to stand and wait for. I also wish that a bit more context was given - I knew we would be going to the glacier by jeep but I would have liked to know how long it would take for us to walk out to the glacier itself. I also think having clothing that the tour guides recommend would be good to have - I know it says to bring winter clothes and rain gear but I would have loved specifics so I could have been a little more prepared. Definitely recommend though! Mike and Sven were great guides and I learned a lot. Beautiful unique scenery too.

The experience itself was AMAZING and I can't recommend it enough. However, we did have some pretty big issues with the communication from Get Your Guide for our activity. The email communications (and in the app) said that our trip was planned for 1pm but after from frantic phone calls and talking to people the day of it got moved to 2pm. We received an email the night before that the meeting spot had changed but when we showed up at 1pm no one was there and we were concerned we missed the whole thing. It wasn't until about 1:15 that someone showed up from the Troll company that we were able to learn that we were actually very early. Apparently the time had changed back in May but we were never notified of that change. We were able to go on the trip but we did have to cancel something since this pushed back our whole itinerary for the day by 1.5 hours.
