Food for thought!

We had a free evening and decided to try the Imperial Culinary Experience at the Hotel Stefanie and we were not disappointed. We were treated like VIP's by the very courteous staff who gave us a brief history of each course as it was delivered. The quality and presentation of each of the several taster courses was excellent. Two hours later we had thoroughly enjoyed a relaxed meal and we were also given a suitable memento of the occasion.

Excellent service, intimate experience

After reading a reviewer who said this was great for solo travelers, I decided to try it. I'm a naturally picky eater, but all of the food was very well prepared and looked just like the photos in the ad. The chive sauce with the boiled beef was my favorite! The staff was excellent and very friendly. They spoke English and were very attentive. Would definitely recommend!!

Lovely service and excellent food

Environment; Being a solo traveller is sometimes a little rough but I was made to feel so welcome here. The waiters all spoke English and they were very friendly, didn't rush me at any stage and took care to explain the dishes to me. Quantity; The menu is set and plentiful. I know I'm a tiny eater but I couldn't finish it. I think the average hungry adult might just fit it in. It includes a yummy golash, a salty noodle soup, then a shniztel with potato salad, then a piece of tender beef with vegetables and potato/bacon mini stacks, then a desert plate (a small potato desert, a small piece of apple strudel - delicious!!!! - and some soft biscuit things, with fruit and cream) PLUS a glass of beer, a glass of wine, and a coffee/tea. Quality; It was delicious in the way that it reminded me of my grandmother's cooking; authentic and wholesome. Extra touches; cute recipe book to take home!! Recommendation; certainly - especially solo, couple or older travellers travellers.
