I expected more fabulous show but I enjoyed the very skilled horses and riders. Maybe the show is better for the people who understand riding and also the difficulty of everything horses and riders did. My place was up and next time I will take it from the first floor. It eas not show easy to see from upstairs. Nice stallions and skilled riders.

The Spanish Riding School performance of the Lippizaner stallions is everything you expect and want. The horses are magnificent and the pageantry is traditional and awesome. A couple of tips: First, I did not notice or realize until I went that I had Standing Room tickets. IF this was stated online, I did not notice it. So, if you show up as instructed at 10:30am for an 11am performance that lasts about an hour and fifteen minutes, it is a long stand. I’m not sure if there is any way around that, because about 80% of the room is standing room. Unless you’re in the Royal box!! Which leads to my second, even better tip: Get there early, and then try to claim standing space behind the one row of seats at THE END of the arena. Most seating is on the sides, but there are huge columns the length of the arena, so almost everyone has an obstructed view. Even the people sitting. So if you can sharpen your elbows and plant your feet early, you will have the best possible view.

Fabulous precision riding the horses were beautiful and well trained ,If you go and see them pay the top price for a good view ,We paid mid range thinking they were good tickets but ended up 4 mtrs up on a balcony ,was a little disappointed but still enjoyed the show .The Aussie travellers ps I just wish the website showed this
