We loved the concert. The quartet of musicians were absolutely enjoying themselves as professionals and it made the performance so enjoyable to watch and listen. Would enjoy it even longer than that 1 hour. The church itself is stunning and intimate, with great acoustics. We sat in the front row all alone, I think it was the best - Never been so close to violins before. Cons: people applauded between movements.

The concert was amazing. Most probably because it was the first concert after a long time. The venue is great, the atmosphere is great and the musicians, singers and dancers were amazing. The dark side of this attraction is dinner. There was wedding fest going on at the same restaurant with loud music playing, the tables and chairs were brought from the terrace and the seating has been arrange in the empty hall from furnishings that remain after the wedding fest. Just four-five table in the big room with loud music coming from the next door. No possibility to go sit outside where majority of people coming from the street ate. The staff really did not care about the people who bought this package. Just "ok, we have to somehow feed you". The service was bad, the food was also absolutely average. The cheapest possible option. If I go again, I would go to the concert but not to the dinner. You better go and eat what you want and sit where you want with the proper atmosphere.

I really enjoyed it! I am a fan of classical music and Vivaldi, but I've never been to a concert of this sort, so I'm no expert in the subject. I only know the compositions. The band performed beautifully and the company staff were superb. I advise you to come as early as possible because there are very few seats with a decent view to the stage (this is valid for catg. III and II) and try to go to the bathroom before the concert since there isn't one in the church.

  • Vienna: Classical Concert at Mozarthaus

    6. Vienna: Classical Concert at Mozarthaus

The Mozart Ensemble Vienna invites you to a moving and unforgettable concert at Mozart's first house in Vienna. Enjoy music from the Viennese Classical Period by the likes of Mozart, Haydn, Schubert, Beethoven, and more. The Sala Terrena at Mozarthaus Vienna is located in Vienna’s historic city center, near both St. Stephan’s Cathedral and Hofburg. It was built as part of the monastery of the German Knightly Order in the second half of the 12th century. In 1781, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart lived in the monastery of the German Order of Knights. He played several concerts in Vienna’s oldest concert hall commissioned by Archbishop Colloredo, an important patron of the Mozart family.

This was a fantastic experience. I was excited to watch a concert of Mozart's music in a room he once played, and in a house he once (briefly) lived in. In the end, however, it was the quartet that blew me away. They played more than just Mozart, masterly weaving through many greats - Bach and Schubert to name a few. Each player was a master at their instrument and performed with synchrony and passion. I really didn't want it to end. I can't imagine anyone leaving this experience dissatisfied! I'd highly recommend it.

Stor oplevelse. Kunne dog tænke mig, at billetterne evt. kunne printes hjemme fra. Noget besværligt at indløse voucherne da der ikke var en specifik adresse, hvor de kunne indløses.

We attended a wonderful concert in the breathtaking Karlskirche. Very enthusiastic string orchestra. It lasted long enough, because the wooden pews do hurt in the long run. We were in the second rank below and had good sight and sound.

It was an excellent experience! Even for us who are not particularly into that kind of music the experience was unique! The musicians where very talented and St Anna's church magnificent. Highly recommended!

The musicians were very talented. The show made for a great evening out in Vienna.
