What people are saying about Victoria Memorial

I very much enjoyed this tour. I told the guide, which places I would like to visit and he accommodated the tour according to my needs. The guide's name was long, I do not remember it. The only minus was that the guide was burping quite frequently in the car. It seems in this region burping and spitting is considered "normal", but the Westerners would do those things in the bathroom. The car had an AC, but I wish it had been more effective. It was an ordinary taxi car, nothing special. I felt comfortable both with the guide and the driver (minus the burping).

My guide (Paramananda) was excellent. He listened to what we wanted to do, gave his advice and suggestions, and helped design the most efficient schedule to fit it all in. He is very knowledgeable, has a very pleasant manner and his help at the various sites was invaluable in getting the most out of the experience in a limited time.

Anirban was an amazing, I was very lucky to be the only one on the tour, so had heaps of time to pick his brain. Anirban's knowledge was first class. A slightly more expensive option compared to others but with it being only a small group option, and then being the only one - well worth it.

Some tour guides just have a routine and some you can tell have a personal passion and pride and greath depth of knowledge and that is definitely Anirban! Great guide, very friendly and informative tour and a fantastic introduction to the streets of Kolkata.

It was well delivered considering the time and cost
