Discover the charm of the medieval town of Vianden with a ride on the touristic Vianden Express train. Have the chance to alight at the chairlift and medieval castle during a return trip.

After boarding the train, set off on your exploration to see the Victor Hugo House and more. Upon arrival at the only chairlift in Luxembourg, take the opportunity to ride up to 440 meters (1,444 feet) for a panoramic view of the town.

The train has a final stop at the entrance near the car parking in Vianden. From there, walk a short distance until the Vianden Castle. The Vianden Castle is still the most visited historical building in the Grand Duchy.

Spend some time visiting and admiring the beauty of the castle. With your Vianden Express ticket you can also benefit from the return trip. The train runs every hour and takes you from the final stop back to the station.

The one-way duration of this tour is 25 minutes. However, it is assumed that you will get off in between to visit the landmarks, such as the castle or the chairlift.
The average time spent visiting the castle is 2 hours.
The chairlift is open from April to October between 10 AM and 5 PM.
The train runs every hour and takes you from the castle back to the station.
