The family that lived there were extremely heart warming and welcoming when we got there. We were greeted with coffee as soon as we arrived. The tour guide was so friendly and his English was fantastic. We were taught about the local area and how they grow and produce their different wines. After, we were served local cheese, meats and bread which were probably the best we’ve had since our arrival in Italy. We had three glasses of wine each and they were fantastic! Paired with a beautiful biscuit/dessert. They were in no hurry to get rid of us and took so much time and patience with everyone’s queries and comments. I would highly recommend doing this if you are in the area!
This was a boutique experience, Nathalie was wonderful, and there were just the two of us, it was a very personal experience. The fare was outstanding, the cheeses and the accompanying relishes and home made bread, superb. Getting to know Italy isn’t all about museums, experiences like this is about history to be sure, but about real Italian life.
Our guide Isabelle was great and gave us a lot of interesting details about the city! Also the three osterias we visited all offered us delicious snacks and wine. The bikes were comfortable and the length of the activity is just right! Thank you very much for showing us around! We definitely recommend the bike tour.
We were the only two on the tour so actually had a private tour and we got two guides! The food is not included but they informed us before. It is a mistake on GetYourGuide. Verona is beautiful and by bike it is super easy and a perfect way to get around. The three Osterias were great!
All three of us agreed that this was one of the best excursions ever!! The winery and grounds were beautiful, the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable and the wines were delicious! We would encourage everyone to experience this delightful tour!
