Meeting point

Meet at the local partner's office, San Marco 1130 second floor, 30124 Venice. To get there on foot: when in Saint Mark’s Square, leave the basilica behind you and proceed straight along the square, walking on the right-hand side. After the “Gran Caffè Quadri,” walk straight until the last street on the right, pass under the arches, and reach the Hard Rock Cafè. With Hard Rock Cafè on the left and the gondola station on the right, go straight on, past Zara and arrive at the first bridge but do not cross it. With the bridge on the right, go on the left (Calle Tron) and stop at the first door on your left and ring the bell. The local partner is located on the second floor.

We had a fantastic guide! She was there early and planned to spend longer than 2 hours with us. She grabbed us a water taxi and took us to Murano Island where we had a private tour of the facility. Afterwards our guide walked us around the island giving us a bit of the history. She gave us plenty of leisure time as well and just asked us to let her know when we wanted a water taxi back. We had a great experience!

good guide but light tour

we had a guide keen on history and we were only two people so privileged visit, on the other hand a little light content: a demo in a single glassware (where we spent most of the time visiting the store with the seller on our heels) + visit to the basilica, the rest of the island is apparently not planned in the program (too bad!) .. but very helpful guide in any case (to help us find the right shuttle boat to leave )
