Full description

This 3-hour sightseeing tour explores Venice by motorboat and takes you through the lagoon for panoramic views. This tour takes you by many of Venice's major attractions and also stops at Murano Island, famous for its glass processing.

Your tour begins with a breathtaking view of San Marco Square including the Doge Palace, the Bell Tower, and the two columns. Cruise into the San Marco Basin for views of the Grand Canal's entrance, the Doge Palace, and the facade of the church on San Giorgio Island.

Head towards the Lido of Venice and skirt by the islands of San Servolo and San Lazzaro. Enjoy a wonderful view of the Southern Lagoon. Continue on to the Port of Lido and cruise in front of the Church of San Nicolò and Sant’ Andrea Fort. Reach the Northern Lagoon, along with the Vignole Islands, before approaching the island of Murano.

Stop in Murano and take a guided tour of an artistic glass factory. Spend 1.5 hours in Murano and have enough time to visit both the glass factory with its showroom and the island. Afterward, head back to San Marco with a stunning view of Venice.

A fun trip. It was very enjoyable to sail around the lagoon by boat. It was nice that you could sit on the ship in the open space, thanks to which the wind blows us nicely. There was nothing to do in Murano. The glass-making presentation lasted 10 minutes, then they invite you to go shopping and the whole island is covered with glass shops.

In short: We were thrilled and would definitely recommend the tour to others! You can visit the main island of Venice and other islands in the lagoon (e.g. Lido) from the water for about an hour. In Murano, a visit to the glass factory with a small show is definitely recommended. After a stay of around 1.5 hours (not a small amount for beautiful Murano), it goes back to Venice. The team was very friendly and helpful, there was a lot of information about the islands of the lagoon in Italian and English. The duration of the tour was just about right. The price-performance ratio is great.

Quite ok for the price. You can probably not expect more there either. The explanations about Venice only came off the tape. But anyway we just wanted to get a different perspective of Venice from the water. And that is what we received.
