Mario was genuinely one of the best people we have met on our travels! His kindness and easy demeanor coupled with his master sommelier certification made him the perfect person to spend a day with, tasting Prosecco and enjoying the countryside. He made us feel welcome and provided extensive knowledge of the wine, the wine making process and the region. Highly recommend spending a day with Mario or his wife if you want to escape Venice for the Italian countryside. He also looked after all the small details like a coffee and bathroom stop as well as a wonderful lunch at a small eatery in the Prosecco hills. Thank you Mario!

Mario, our guide was great. We visited 2 different vineyards with guided tastings of 5 Prosecco types at each. Beautiful lunch at a family run agriturismo with all ingredients sourced from their own land. Mario was friendly and very knowledgeable. A highlight of our trip to Venice.

Wow this tour FAR exceeded our expectations. This is one of the best if not the best tour I’ve ever been on. Mario our sommelier was absolutely fabulous so pleasant and knowledgeable. He even stopped for coffee en route to the wineries which 6 sleepy people needed. The wineries were beyond excellent and we all learned a lot. I’m a big Prosecco fan and I tasted Proseccos which were sadly not available in our Province in Canada. The lunch which was from farm to table was so delicious. A very beautiful rustic setting. We were going on a cruise after our tour as it’s a small ship and the company is always looking for unique experiences with small groups, I recommended this tour. Highly highly highly recommended.
