Thanks we were able to get into all the desired places. Transportation card was great. Only draw back was we could only go one time with each card into the main attractions. It was great anyway. Still had to stand in line for Basilica though - thought our passes could get us through. Thanks

      Great Value !

This was a great value for the money. The water taxi and public transport with this pass was an exceptional value. It will take you to Burano and Murano islands besides all around Venice. The pass worked at Doge's Palace also. You get 3 cards: 1- Public Transportation, 2- Churches, 3- Museums. Best advice is to identify which churches and museums that your card is good for BEFORE you go. That way you will know which additional museums you may need to pay for to enter. ALSO - Take a printed ticket.

The Citypass is a smooth way to get around in Venice!

We had some problems initially to convert the voucher into tickets. It took the personel about an hour (and 3 persons) to check that our voucher wasn't false (they said). I showed them a printed version and the digital one in my phone. The Vaporetto is a fast way to get around in Venice. The Alilaguna is much slower, but takes you from Mureno to Lido (and to the airport). It doesn't show when you buy the ticket if the entrance to the Dodge palace is "skip-the-line" (is it?). We didn't use the card for entrances to museums/churches. They never checked our tickets att the Vaporetto. Value for money?
