This is a DO NOT MISS experience while visiting Venice. My son and I were in Venice for Christmas and booked this on Christmas Eve Day. It began with a tour of the famous Rialto Market. We asked so many questions about the fish and vegetables for sale and Lorenzo, our guide/chef, answered all of them. And what I loved most is that we were able to decide as a group (a small one) what to cook. We ended up cooking things I've never cooked before, including homemade pasta. It was an education. And Lorenzo's home where we cooked was both cozy and functional (his music playlist also gets an A+)! It was by far our favorite activity in Venice. It felt like we were having a meal with friends when we all sat down to eat what we had created. We drank wine, ate great food, learned so much and talked for hours after we were scheduled to leave. He was a wonderful tour guide, a talented chef/teacher and a great human. HIGHLY recommend!

Well I have to take my hat off to Barbara she really immersed us in the Vancian culture. We had such a great time making pasta and listening to her reminisce when she was a little girl with her mum being taught how to make it and passing that good knowledge on to us how we miss that in todays society. We shared our experience with 4 other guests from around the world USA & Portugal it was great to meet them as well. An opportunity not to be missed.

What an amazing experience. We went during the off season, so it ended up just being us. The chef (Christina) made our experience very memorable. From start to finish, just amazing.

My son and I joined the cooking class and it was a lot of fun! We will be talking about it for years to come.

It was excellent and great fun! I highly recommend this cooking class.
