We were trying to think of a last minute activity for Heraklion on a day we left open for anything: doing a large group tour didn't sound like fun, so we opted to try out this tour to get more food sampling and get to different parts of the city without walking (our legs were dead after many days of long walks). Within minutes of booking, Alex our guide had texted and gave us the meeting spot, which was walkable along the waterfront in about 35 minutes (nice walk). Alex was a fun and generous guide, able to converse on a broad range of topics and could answer anything. So: this was a LOT OF FOOD! My biggest regret was eating breakfast in the morning: usually I don't meet my limits but I did on this tour, it started off with a few stops for smaller bites but let to a huge lunch and then more dessert on top of that. I didn't have any appetite until breakfast the next day (good!). The e-bikes were fun, safe and low to the ground, some butt-hurt from the seats, consider a seat pad.

Our family spent the most enjoyable afternoon of our time in Crete with Alex. He is personable, flexible, knowledgeable and just fun to hang out with. We biked all over the place (btw, bikes are super fun and easy to use) and felt super safe. We learned a little about the city, about history and we also ate THE MOST DELICIOUS FOOD of our entire vacation and we’ve had some great meals! Pro tip: skip breakfast and lunch and then take the tour. Also, pace yourself. The portions are extremely generous. An early stop was a deconstructed gyro place ( so good!) and we over ate as it was so yummy only to find out there was a 6+ Course authentic Cretan meal ahead! Besides the amazing food, Alex was very nice and accommodated our request for a last minute tour for our family. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We enjoyed his company and getting to know him. I cannot recommend this tour enough. Do not miss it!! Thank you Alex for everything!!

This activity was simply awesome. Alex was an amazing host and we all thoroughly enjoyed the tour. He was so hospitable and we had so much fun. There was so much food and alcohol involved. We left totally stuffed and happy! Would 100% recommend this tour. It’s such a great way to explore and the bikes are so much fun! Book it now!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful time on this tour! Alex our tour guide made us feel like we were spending the day with family. The food was all amazing and got a true feel for the cuisine of Crete. My husband was initially not sure if he wanted to go and after said it was the highlight of his visit. Would highly recommend!!

Alex was great guide, learned and tasted lots of local food & drink!
