The Doges palace was larger and more impressive in real life than expected. St.Marks was closed on the ground floor due to flood damage from last November, but the interior could be viewed well from the upper balcony. The tour guide Monica was excellent, very clear, knowledgeable and considerate. It is worth booking a small tour to skip the ticket queues, as everyone still has to queue for security checks as well. We were also offered a free admission into a glass factory nearby at the end of the tour which was great.

Our guide, Denise, was fantastic! Beautiful young local woman who knew a lot of interesting, historical and sometimes funny stories. What we liked most was her easy way linking the past of Venezia with it‘s present. And Denise entertained us with the current venezian gossip. I can say it was shocking, guys!!! Thank you, Denise! And you who‘s reading this lines: Book and have fun!!!

What a great deal! I went on a small group (7 of us) tour with Denise. She was very knowledgeable about the city and told lots of extra stories about daily life. The tour wasn’t dry at all. She also gave good recommendations of other things to see or places to eat.

The guide, Deniese, was very friendly and very passionate about her city, Venice, which she as able to communicate to our little group. She showed us many major sights on the tour, but almost more interesting were many out of the way sights.

The walking tour was really good with our guide, Denise, who is a local and knows the routes and history of Venice really well. She is friendly and made the tour amusing and informative. Highly recommended...
