I thought Sarah, our tour guide for Coloseum was great. She was so knowledgable. And the Vatican tour was great too. Wish the meeting spot was more specific and couldn't find them. Had to make phone calls, and from America, can be costly. The guide waited for us. Thank you. Another thing that is not told up front, we had to take a 10euro cab to get from Coloseum area tour to Vatican our Vatican tour. It wasn't a big deal, we just weren't expecting to do that.
We had fantastic guides for all activities. The VIP tour is a great value. We saw more of Rome than we could have if we tried to purchase individual packages. We were able to tailor the tour of Rome to our family desires. Tour of Rome and Catacombs were provided by Marco Aggettola and crew. They were all great! At the Colosseum our guide Lucina was fabulous and at the Vatican we had Giuse, who was wonderful. All guides were very friendly and knowledgeable.
The tour took almost 3 hours and we were lucky to be only 7 people in the group. The queues were very long, but the tour had special fast truck. That save time and energy. It’s important to have a guide to get a lot out of the tour. It’s difficult to do it on your own. It was very little time to see the Vatican Museum. The tour is expensive especially for a family.
We recently did the Rome in a Day tour, while the day was busy, we had an excellent time. Tour guides were knowledgeable, interesting and very helpful. Would recommend this tour, but if you have more time, take a couple of days, as the one day certainly was full on, but we loved it.
Dennis was a great guide for this tour, very knowledgeable and smart. He got us through this tour avoiding us the long queues. Would recommend this tour with him again
