  • Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Entrance Ticket

    1. Vatican Museums & Sistine Chapel Entrance Ticket

Take a stirring journey through art and religious history with skip-the-ticket-line entry to the Vatican Museums and Sistine Chapel. Avoid the long ticket lines and then enjoy your visit at your own pace.  Tiptoe through the Greek Cross Gallery to see elaborately-carved sarcophagi that might just contain the earthly remains of some of antiquity's famous kings and queens! Peek at the Cabinet of the Masks, or tour the Sala degli Animali to see a virtual menagerie of fantastic beasts, real and imagined. Walk the Upper Galleries, including the Gallery of Maps, to see how cartographers depicted the world through the ages. See masterpieces by Renaissance masters in the Raphael Rooms, and rest for a while in the Borgia Apartments. Then, it’s time to marvel at Michelangelo’s exquisite Sistine Chapel, the crown jewel of the Vatican, and perhaps even of all the world’s art treasures.

Nice tour despite the amusement park-like herding of people through the museum. Guards were a bit rude to visitors. Didn't like that if you missed seeing something the guards wouldn't let you retreat to look again. The tour itself was beautiful!

So much to see. In an odd way we were glad we went during Covid as in 'normal times' we suspect so many Rome sights would be too busy to gain the best benefit of a visit. This was definitely one of those. It was still busy and at times quite large groups of people were very close, although all were wearing masks. Having said that it was an amazing place to visit.

What people are saying about Vatican Museums

We were able to get tickets much earlier than the earliest slot on the Vatican museum website ... We were able to quickly go in , show our number in the app to the guy at the reservation window, who then gave us tickets to use in the turnstile to get into the main part of the museum. We were able to tour on our own which is exactly what we wanted to do. Thanks.

There were no tickets left on that date at the official museum homepage, so we bought this a little more expensive ticket. Everything was fine.

Great experience, chose not to have a guide so we could wander around the museum at our own pace

Superb guide. Tour was a little lengthy for my liking, otherwise enlightening .

Much easier and quicker to get in with this ticket.
