Incredible time atvthe Vatican. Getting tickets was easy. Just go to the ticket booth right before entrance and show your receipt with QR code. Self audio your was not as great. Plus it's not with headphones. I do highly recommend Rick Steves free audio tour you can download. Its great because it tells exactly what to look at in each room to get you looking at the most important pieces of art. Otherwise everything was great!

The trip is fantastic! The local signs are useless to help you find where to exchange your voucher for a ticket You literally go to the normal museum entrance, through security and to reception on the left. They scan the QR code and you get a Vatican ticket, simple once you have done it.

Just to be aware, It is hot in August. No A/C in the Vatican museum and very crowded with people, except when you reach the Sistine Chapel, and it is still hot, and it is at least 1.5-2.5 hours through it. It is also hot waiting in line, even if you have a skip the line ticket. Also, it is chaotic near the lines to get in. There are people who will ask if you have tickets, they are just helping and you can ask them where you need to go. Don’t get in line too much before your ticket time, they will tell you to come back, and then you have to wait again.
