Tour provided by Best of Switzerland. Everything from start to finish was faultless. Excellent communications before the tour commenced. A very friendly, knowledgeable tour guide and a friendly group - what more could you want? Attention to hygiene and safety precautions were good and implemented well without detracting from the experience. Konrad our guide was informative, humourous and readily available to take pictures upon request! In fact the your wouldn't have been as good without him! An excellent, highly recommended tour - well worth the money !
Begin with a 30-minute ride up to the Gornergrat Summit Station on the legendary cogwheel train. Throughout your steep climb, travel over bridges, through tunnels, and past thundering waterfalls. Observe the Matterhorn, Switzerland’s iconic mountain peak, which lingers in the background for the rest of the your journey. Take a slow climb up to an open air 360-degree viewing platform to enjoy views over the highest peaks in the Alps. These include the Monte Rosa peaks and glaciers, which are the highest places in Switzerland. Relax at the sun-filled terrace of the Kulm Hotel, before hiking on posted trails through a nature reserve area. As you travel, admire the amazing geology and a variety of alpine wild flowers, and stop at an alpine lake to admire its beauty and crystal clear water. Aside from the places we visited, it was the people we met along the journey that made this wonderful experience more memorable. Special thanks to Eduardo & Ximena for a wonderful and very informative tour. Ms. Amanda from the "Best of Switzerland" office was amazing for providing me guidelines when I experienced a minor hiccup while on tour. The local partner handled all my concerns with utmost professionalism and kindness. I highly recommend this tour to everyone visiting Switzerland. Again, my sincerest Thank you to all the people who made our day tour special.
It was a life time experience to visit Jungfraujoch. When we started from Zurich as early as 8AM we were worried about the weather which was totally unpredictable but when we reached the summit it was a wonderful experience. There was clear sun shine. The glacier was clearly visible . The visit yo sphinx, platue , Ice palace, glacier will never be forgotten. We enjoyed the cable car ride .it is worth mentioning that the Guide was fully conversant with the history of the areas which made our visit completely hassle free and thoroughly enjoyable.
An amazing trip and well worth the money, I would recommend this to anyone. The guide was great, the coach ride so much easier than figuring out all the trains and connections yourself. Like all of Switzerland, the scenery is breathtaking but the food is appalling! Tip, buy a sandwich at the Grindewald station as the food in the restaurants at the top is awful and very expensive.
We had an amazing tour.. we would like to appreciate our guide Mr Gorge.. everything was minutely explained and he also helped us with understanding the culture history and so on This made it easy for us Thanks.. will highly recommend this tour
