Start the day with the pick-up from your hotel in Ushuaia. Once in the car, you´ll head west in the direction of the National Park. While you leave Ushuaia city, you´ll start to have nice views of the Beagle Channel and the Andes Mountain Range. After 20 minutes, you´ll be driving along the historical and beautiful Pipo River Valley, where the prisoners from the Old Penal Colony of Ushuaia were harvesting wood for over 50 years with the aid of a narrow gauge train. At only 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Ushuaia, you´ll find the famous train "The End of the World", which is a reconstruction of the old train of the prison and were you´ll spend some time discovering this wonderful attraction. Then it will be time to go inside the park either by car or by train (one hour ride). Once in the national park, you´ll continue west for about 25 minutes to reach its end at the coast of Lapataia Bay. This gorgeous bay of the Beagle Channel has a big symbolic value because the end of the route 3 is also the southern end of the Pan-American Highway. After spending some time walking and discovering the coast of the bay and taking pictures, there´s no other choice but to start driving in the other direction. Departing from the end of the Pan-American Highway, you´ll go to visit the stunning Roca Lake, which was carved and formed by the action of glaciers for over 10,000 years. After enjoying a cup of tea or coffee with the great scenario this lake offers, you´ll start heading east on the route 3, getting closer to the city. But before leaving the park, you´ll reach the coast of the Beagle Channel again to visit Zaratiegui Bay this time. This gorgeous bay with a magnificent landscape holds a special sub Antarctic evergreen forest as well as the typical "End of the World" post office. In this cozy and traditional post office you will be able to stamp your passport with special stamps and also send postcards from the furthermost point of America to anywhere in the world. From here, you´ll return to Ushuaia which lays 20 minutes driving from this bay.

Head off on a full-day excursion in the wilderness of southern Argentina with a jeep tour, followed by horseback riding, and a walk around marvellous lakes with the majestic Andes Mountains surrounding you. Start your day bright and early with a pickup at your hotel, and head straight to the lake region by driving on the national route N°3, where you will cross peat valleys and the Andes Mountains through the Garibaldi Pass. Continue along the road through old trails used for logging, marvelling at the deep valleys around you as your expert local guide tells you the history of the route and the mountains. Once you cross the iconic Andes Mountains, catch a glimpse of the glorious Lago Escondido, a large lake, before descending to its borders, where you'll begin your off-roading adventure. Once there, stop for a rest to meet your horses, and to enjoy a delicious snack. Then, hop on your horse, especially chosen according to each person's riding experience, and enjoy a leisurely ride for 30 minutes. Join this active excursion to take part in the most comprehensive day tour of Tierra del Fuego. In addition to Gable Island, visit the Harberton Ranch and the penguin colony on Martillo Island. Leave Ushuaia toward the east until you arrive at Lasifashaj River. There, preparations will begin to paddle inflatable canoes along the river and the Beagle Channel. You will be provided with rubber boots, trousers, and life jackets to paddle downstream and to the sea in the Beagle Channel. At the sea, you will see wildlife, including a variety of seabirds and maybe even some sea lions. Then, arrive at the Harberton Ranch and take a motorboat towards the Isla Martillo. From the boat, you can see penguins at their breeding site. Continue on your motorboat to the main attraction of the day, the huge Gable Island, where a hot lunch awaits you with Patagonian wine, soft drinks, and mineral water. Next, hike to explore this wonderful island along beaver dams, through the forest, and along the marine coast until you reach the boat that will take you back to Puerto Harberton. Then, take the bus to Ushuaia.

Your trek to the Vinciguerra Glaciar begins with a morning transfer from your hotel to the Valley of Andorra. Leave the vehicle behind and challenge the wet and slippery ground as you follow a meandering river that cuts across peat bogs that line the valley.    Arrive at the forest and prepare for an initially demanding ascent that becomes easier once reaching the treeline some 600-meters above sea level. Once above the treeline have views of the surrounding mountain range's craggy peaks that enclose the valley. Continue along a stream that feeds from a glacial lagoon and arrive at the Vinciguerra Glaciar only a few dozen meters ahead.  During your trek enjoy a boxed lunch with drinks. Leaving Ushuaia, travel along National Route 3, northeast towards the mountain peaks of Mounts Olivia and Cinco Hermanos. Through the journey along Carabajal Valley, see “circus” glaciers, suspended valleys, and peats. Your next stop will be the Valle de Lobos Winter Center, a breeding center for dog sleds, Syberian Huskies, and Alaskan Huskies.   Continue your trip to find peat valleys, small glaciers, cross-country skiing centers, the alpine skiing center of Beaver Mountain, cascades and natural habitats that have been modified by the beavers. Make your way up to the Garibaldi Crossing through the winding road, surrounded by forests full of Lengas and Ñires. Take some time to enjoy the panoramic views of Lakes Escondido, Fagnano, and their surroundings from Garibaldi’s Viewpoint. On the way to Lake Fagnano, see the Bronzovich Sawmill, Entre Rios Rural School, and Kaiken Lodging House at the headwaters of the lake. After this last stop, begin your journey back towards the Winter Centers, where you can stop for lunch and even try typical Fuegian lamb. After, return to your hotel in Ushuaia.

Feel like a local as you catch your own crab in the Beagle Channel and learn the culinary secrets of Patagonian-style crab. Explore a native forest and a traditional fishing village on a guided trip. After pick-up from your hotel, head to your first stop, a dense native forest by the coast. Walk through the woods to visit an impressive waterfall before returning to the vehicle. Next, see Puerto Almanza, the southernmost fishing port in Argentina. From there, drive to a small fishing village, where nearly everyone fishes, catching crab, mussels, and other typical mollusks. We had a fantastic time on this trip, the canoeing was great fun and not too physically challenging, the guides were fantastic at keeping us on track and entertained. Santiago our trekking guide was very friendly bi-lingual and highly knowledgable about the local history, nature and generally about ushuaia. Lunch was delicous. Overall very satisfied and would highly recommend the trip to all.

I had a wonderful day with my guide Nicolas. He took a lot of time to show and explain everything to me. Nicolas was very knowledgeable in all areas and I would do a tour like this again at any time, highly recommended!

Coco was a very friendly and knowledgeable guide. Our party of four all had a fantastic time. A highlight was a coffee break in a beautiful spot along a river with coffee and delicious Argentinian sweets.
