1. Bali Sunset: Uluwatu Temple, Kecak Dance and Jimbaran Bay

Experience the best sundown spot in Bali on a visit to Uluwatu Temple, a Balinese temple to the sea gods with a commanding view of the Indian Ocean. Part of a series of temples built to protect the island from evil spirits, today its cliffside location is home to a family of friendly monkeys. Once night falls and you have seen the colors of the sunset, experience one of the island's most famous cultural performances at a "kecak" fire dance. Watch the locals act out a scene from the Ramayana with a mesmerizing trance chant, exciting performances of fire dances, and intricate costumes. Then, get the option to enjoy dinner at a seafood restaurant serving delicious barbecue food in Jimbaran Bay. Sink your feet in the sand as you dine and relax at the end of an unforgettable day!

What people are saying about Uluwatu

Talk about your perfect beach day in Uluwatu! Sunday’s Beach club was the dream beach you’ll always want to go see again. Do make sure you reserve your day bed or bean bag directly with the club as we nearly didn’t get one. Our tour guide Joni made the day extra special by making sure we got the BEST VIEW at Rock bar and really showed us a great time. Joni always did the extra effort to make sure we had water and was very helpful.

Great experience that I can recommend to everyone! With Giri we had a very good driver/tour guide. Knew a lot to tell and got us there and back safely. The location is fantastic with the sun setting and the performance is very impressive. Highly recommended!!

it was a great experience. our driver Putu was really an interesting person to go along with and we had a great time with him. He is a friendly and helpful person, who's eager to communicate and connect with his clients.

Karba John was our driver, superb service and great local knowledge, made the whole day easy for us, John was happy to help us with any questions we had about the area! Highly recommend.

This was a great way to enjoy uluwatu's spectacular beach clubs. It was our first day in Bali so was a great introduction.
