Explore Innsbruck and discover the historic parts of the city with a private licensed guide. Your tour will start at the arranged meeting point in the center of Innsbruck. First you will enjoy the Imperial Garden, and walk past the Imperial Palace to the Court Church with the funeral monument of Emperor Maximilian and his bronze "Black Men" (Schwarze Mander). Also, worth a visit is the baroque Cathedral of St. James. Its interior contains the famous painting Mariahilf (Mary of Succor) by Lucas Cranach the Elder. The admission to the cathedral is free, visits are only possible outside of church services. Afterwards, you will stroll through the historic city center to the former magnificent alcove balcony of Emperor Maximilian, the Golden Roof, the most photographed monument in Innsbruck. Through narrow alleys past colorful historic town houses you will reach the Inn bridge. After a short walk to our next stop, you can explore one of Austria´s finest Beer Shops by tasting the different tyrolean beers offered there, including the right snacks to go with the beers. Discover the great pairing of beer and cheese at our next stop, where you will learn more about the oldest brewery in Tyrol. Admire the pittoresque Old Town of Innsbruck with its famous Golden Roof and Hofburg on our walk to our fourth and final stop and feel free to ask your guide anything you´d like to know about this great city. At our last stop you´ll learn to appreciate the originality and craftsmanship that goes into beer brewing and into craft beers. Here you are getting a taste of one of Tyrol´s most prestigious Craft Beer Brewery and have again some lovely snacks to go along with them.
